OUR TEAM

 The Institute’s personnel is responsible for its daily operation, the management of the various programs, the planning of activities, the communication with partners as well as all fundraising actions.

 In parallel, the Institute has developed an important network of scientific experts and researchers that are mobilized according to the needs of each program or activity.

Vivian Boufounou, Research Director

  • Vivian is Assistant Professor of Financial Development in the Department of Economics Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens as well as the Coordinator of the Masters Program “MBA in Strategic Management & Competitiveness”

  • She has more than 30 years of work experience as higher executive in the financial public and private sector with a focus on investments and strategic restructuring and development.

  • She has also worked as Managing Director of several financial companies, Managing Director of Leasing company, President of Invest in Greece and special advisor of the President of the National Bank of Greece and the Hellenic Bank Association.

Fotis Papadoyannis, Financial Director

  • Fotis Papadoyannis has studied Economics at the Athens Economics University. He is member of the Greek Economics Chamber and holds an accountant’s license.

  • He has more than 10 years of work experience with an expertise as a freelance accountant, tax advisor and business consultant.

  • He has cooperated with various banking and financial institutions on issues of liquidation and company management.

Loukas Spanos, Scientific Advisor

  • Loukas Spanos is an economist (BA, MSc, University of Athens) and an accredited mediator. Since 2008 he is collaborating with A.D.G.I-INERPOST as a researcher.

  • He is the Director of the Financial Mediation Center at the Hellenic Financial Ombudsman and he has also worked as advisor to the President of the National Bank of Greece on issues of CSR & sustainability as well as crowdfunding.

  • He has over 12 years of experience in senior governmental & public affairs roles with substantial policy-making experience, including serving as Head of the Office of the Minister of Labor, Head of the Office of the Minister of Development & Policy Advisor at the Hellenic Parliament.

  • He was member of the Expert Committee of the Athens Exchange for the implementation of the European Central Securities Depositories Regulation (CSDR) & of a Working Expert Group that proposed a corporate governance compliance methodology for Greek listed companies.

Ioanna Fratzeskaki, Project Manager

  • Ioanna Fratzeskaki is responsible for the development and the implementation of the Institute’s programs.

  • In parallel, she is in charge of external communications, the relations with cooperating partners and all fund-raising activities.

  • She has nearly 15 years of work experience in strategic communications and public affairs and she has been involved in a wide range of stakeholder engagement initiatives in Greece and abroad. She has also gained extensive expertise in the development of CSR and sustainability programs.

  • She has studied Modern History and Politics at Royal Holloway, University of London (BA) and holds a Masters (MA) in Mediterranean politics from King’s College, University of London

Efi Karafotia, Administrative Officer

  • Efi has been working at A.D.G.I-Inerpost since 2014 as an administrative officer.

  • She has nearly 10 years of work experience in the private sector in the field of administration and human resources management.

  • She holds a Bachelors Degree in Communications and a Masters in International Business from Royal Holloway,University of London.

Stellios Papailias, Legal Advisor

  • Stellios Papailias is an active lawyer at the Greek Supreme Court since 2001.

  • Since 2015 he is the Institute’s legal advisor.

  • During his legal practice, he has dealt successfully with a number of cases focusing on civil, administrative, trade and criminal law.

  • He is the legal advisor of the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece. He has also worked as the legal advisor of the Minister of the Economy, Competitiveness and Shipping  as well as the Minister of Labor and Social Security.

  • He studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and continued his studies in Public and Administrative Law in Ruprecht-Karls Universität Heidelberg.
